| Please join us for a tour of the now certified organic Cedar Summit Farm. You may have already tasted their delicious milk and other dairy products from grass fed cows. We will tour the farm and the plant where they process cheese and ice cream, we might be able to see other farm animals such as chickens. The tour takes about one hour and is completed with an ice cream cone. You could go to the ‘miracle of birth’ building at the state fair and see baby pigs up on a monitor, with 12,000 other people or, you and your kids could enjoy a private tour of a certified organic, and local, dairy farm.
In St. Paul, there is a group of parents who represent the EcoMom ™ Alliance east of the river. They have invited the EcoMoms (west of the river) and anybody else to join them for an educational tour that ends with ice cream straight from the cow! RSVP to Jose. See above post for details.
